This update brings a major new way to track spending on iPhone, plus improvements to group summaries and expense accuracy. • Track payments from your notifications You can now set up supported bank and e-wallet notifications to automatically create expenses in Spnding. Amount, merchant, and category can be filled in for you. No manual entry needed. • See what each member spent In shared groups, the Summary tab can now show spending by category for the whole group or for an individual member. • Better duplicate protection If both your bank and wallet app notify you about the same payment, Spnding now does a better job of recognizing it and avoiding duplicate expenses. • More accurate Summary totals Spending by category now stays in sync with the total shown at the top of your group as new expenses are added. Plus, we’ve made additional improvements and fixes to keep Spnding running smoothly.

This update gives you more flexibility when tracking expenses and managing groups. • Add notes to expenses Every expense can now include an optional note, so you can save extra context like who it was for or whether it’s reimbursable. • Set a default category for each group Choose a default category for a group and new manual expenses will start with it already selected. • Add more people to your groups Groups can now include both guests and other Spnding users, making it easier to manage everyone you split expenses with. • Track balances with guests The Owes tab is now available for single-user groups, so you can easily see how much you owe your guests or how much they owe you. • Cleaner Settings We redesigned the Settings page to make features and preferences easier to find. • More details for Apple Pay tracked expenses Expenses created through Apple Pay Tracking now include a note showing where they came from, including the card used when available.
