A short guided tour now shows you around the app - Profile, Home, People and Discover pages, one card at a time. Skip it whenever you like, and replay it any time from Settings. Dates follow your phone's time zone. Today's hexagram, the week strip and every date move with you when you travel, with no restart. HexWave opens again on iOS 27.

- A new account now opens straight to your Profile, where your hexagram is waiting. - Sign-in messages say what actually went wrong, so you know whether to check your connection or simply try again. - We now look at how HexWave is used, which screens get opened and where people get stuck, to make the app better. Nothing personal is ever collected: not your birth details, your name, your email, or a word of any reading. Details in our Privacy Policy.

Small repairs, and one new thing. - Rate HexWave: a quiet link in Settings, if you ever want to. No pop-ups, ever. - Better VoiceOver and TalkBack support in Settings. - Fixed a crash a few people hit opening their Profile. - Steadier sign-in, and subscription status stays accurate.

Notifications for your connections. Get a gentle heads-up when someone sends you a connection request, when a request of yours is accepted, and when a Mutual Map you asked for is ready. Choose which ones you want in Settings > Notifications. Also in this release: the daily and universal hexagram reminders now show their schedule, and small fixes to sign-in, navigation and error messages.

A new opening animation: the plum blossom unfolding into all 64 hexagrams. Setting your birth date is now much easier. The date picker is a simple scrolling wheel, so your birth year is right where you expect it. Shared readings now carry your hexagram names, not just their numbers.
