Samples sent to an EP-1320 now play at the right pitch. Send again any you uploaded at 44.1 kHz. The EP-1320 plays every sample at 46.875 kHz, so a 44.1 kHz sample played about a semitone sharp. The app now converts a sample your EP can't play as it is, with its loop and zone points moved to match, and tells you which samples it converted.

Sending to your EP now shows each sample as it goes, with the time left. Stop Sending finishes the sample on its way, and Send Remaining picks up where it left off. Fade Out All fades the end of every sample in a kit or multisample in one step, so a trimmed sample stops without a click. Chop Sample scrolls again on iPad and phone. Pushing a project waits until your EP is free, and the Library imports several project files at once. You can now leave a tip in the app if you'd like to support it. Plus smaller fixes.

Chop Sample is new in the Sample Editor. Open a break and it slices it by transients, into equal parts or to a grid. Keep the strongest 8 as a kit for the EP-40, turn them into a multisample or save up to 24 as WAV files through the share sheet. All of that is free. Fit More makes room on a K.O. II. One tap makes a sample mono, lowers the rate and, where the pitch allows it, turns on Double Speed. Undo puts it back. Also free. The screens are laid out for your phone now, with cards on iPad, and restores keep your sample settings. Plus lots of smaller fixes.

The Stem Splitter now works on iPhone and iPad. On devices with enough memory you can split a song into drums, bass, vocals and everything else, privately and on the device. Keep the app open while it works; the screen stays on, and if a split gets cut off it tells you next time. Also in this update: - Sending files to and from your EP no longer breaks when the device is sending MIDI clock. - Anonymous usage analytics and crash reports stay off until you choose to share them. - When your Pro trial ends, the app offers once to email you a code for more time. - The Stem Splitter's downloads are now called splitter packs, with clearer names. - iOS 15.1 or later is now required. - Smaller fixes and clearer wording throughout.

A new app icon. On iPhone, pick the four tools you want in the bottom bar and reach the rest from All Tools. Select several files at once in File Manager, and the selection survives a trip to the editor and back. The Sample Editor folds its actions into a menu and short landscape screens keep the controls in reach. Big libraries open faster, because startup no longer loads every project and sample pack into memory at once. Settings > Storage can rebuild your library from the files on disk if the app's database is ever lost. Dark mode now reaches the Project Viewer timeline, sample waveforms and editor windows when the app follows your device's light and dark setting. Also fixed: triggering the same note twice quickly no longer leaves a looping voice playing, and Device Info refreshes its storage figures each time you open it.

Time-stretch now works in playback and stem export. A pad stretched to the project tempo, in BPM or BAR mode, plays and exports at that speed with its pitch unchanged. Loops play continuously across bars and scene changes instead of restarting at every bar. Loops-only factory projects now show up and play in the Project Viewer, and loop waveforms line up with what you hear. Also fixed: full-mix export clipping when several groups peak at once, Ableton export missing latched loops, front-trimmed samples playing past their trim end, and rare crashes are now caught and reported on the next launch.

Chop a sample into equal slices. Cut it into 4, 8, 16 or any number of even slices, snapped to zero crossings. Made for breaks and loops. Convert projects between devices. Move a project between EP-133, EP-40 and EP-1320 and the app remaps it for the target device. Also new: batch process samples straight from your device, a 3-band EQ in the Sample Editor, guided tours for every tool, Select mode for lists, double-tap waveform zoom and hardware-style knobs and faders. Fixes: sample name errors on device upload, Batch Processor session restore, a licensing issue that could affect the Pro trial, phone header layout and the launch screen icon in dark mode.
