just a regular camera app, trying to sell you what you already have: a camera app. nothing new, different or outstanding. at least there’s a free trial, so you can try for yourself.

Hi! Thanks for the feedback. We're a small indie team of just two people and non-5-star reviews really hurt us. Zerocam isn't trying to replicate the native camera, it's the opposite: an intentionally minimal, distraction-free experience with no AI over-processing and its own curated color philosophy. We're now on version 4.9 with tons of improvements: RAW and RAW Max shooting, Looks (curated color grades with minimal processing), frontal camera, multi-exposure shots, shooting from the lock screen with the camera control button, 10 free shots before subscribing (plus a multi-day trial on subscription), a Restore Purchase button in the paywall, and many performance fixes. Please give the app another chance and consider updating your rating to 5 stars. Thank you!

In a recent update they removed both the option to shoot a few pictures a day for free and the option of a lifetime subscription. I’d honestly buy the app now that there’s no free tier, but I’m tired of everything being a subscription, so I’ll just look for an alternative until they bring the lifetime subscription back.
