The game has a great concept, but I've encountered some frustrating issues. On the iPad version, the rhythm mechanics suffer from touch registration flaws: when I press a note, the game frequently registers the tap on a different lane. I've played most games in the SuperStar franchise, and this is the first time I've experienced this kind of control issue. Furthermore, I wasn't given the option to choose my username when I started. Now, the game demands that I spend diamonds to change a nickname I never even got to set.
