A new icon, and a brand filter in Passport. • A new app icon, with light, dark and tinted versions for your Home Screen. The other icon styles are gone. • In Passport, tap a hotel brand under Brands to see only the places you stayed with it. Hotel logos sit above their pins, and tapping a city lists your stays there. • A small grey shape moves while a booking is read, a file is imported or a hotel is matched. Reduce Motion keeps it still. • Stay cards show each stay as a span, with the nights between the two dates. • Your Passport cover and your top-status Loyalty card get a metal edge that moves as you tilt your phone. • The weather line no longer shows a trip from a city to itself.

More updated for iPhone Duo, unfolded: - Stays now shows the stay at the top of your list beside it, never an empty page. Tap another row to swap. - Your list shows each stay on one compact row. Stays under way keep their check-out time, room and PIN. - Settings lines up under its title, and in portrait the tab bar stays at the bottom. Add a stay now starts with up to three hotels around you, if you've already allowed location. Pick one and the hotel is filled in. Cards in Stays show the hotel's brand and loyalty programme on the photo, and upcoming stays have Directions and Call ready. More hotels now show their own logo in Stays and Passport, including Fairfield by Marriott and newer brands from Hilton, Hyatt, IHG, Accor and others. Hotels whose name doesn't give their brand away, like many Autograph Collection hotels, now get the right logo too. You can change it any time in Edit. Stayed also suggests the right loyalty programme for more brands, and no longer mistakes a Hampton or Holiday Inn in a town called Fairfield or Gaylord for a Marriott. And Stayed now opens with its logo for a moment. Tap to skip it.

Made for iPhone Duo: unfold it and the tab bar moves to a side rail, with your stays list beside each stay and the Passport globe beside your record. Stayed Pro is clearer too, with the plans up front and what stays free stated before you choose. Plus fixes for iPhone Duo.

This update improves hotel matching, loyalty-programme suggestions, loading feedback and tab animations. Features to review: - Hotel matching: Add a stay → import a booking or choose Add it yourself. Stayed uses the hotel name and location to help identify the property. Google Places provides a fallback when Apple search cannot find a suitable match. - Loyalty suggestions: Recognised properties may suggest a brand or loyalty programme. Users can review and change the programme before saving. A suggestion does not confirm that a booking earns loyalty benefits. - Loading feedback: Updated loading states appear while opening the record, searching for a property or checking a selection. Animations respect Reduce Motion. - Tab animations: Animations replay when returning to a tab or tapping the selected tab again. - Property reporting: Settings → Report a property issue. Users can report a missing property or an incorrect loyalty-programme match and review the details before sending. The updated release sheet introduces hotel matching and loading improvements. It appears once for eligible returning users and can be dismissed.

Keep both bookings or skip a match before saving. • Report missing properties or incorrect loyalty matches from Settings, with a chance to review your report before sending. • Simpler Settings and improvements to how forms preserve your edits when saving fails.

Your stays, without a signal. • Read saved stays and manually add or edit a stay offline, whether you're on a plane or somewhere without reception. • Keep booking confirmations in Pending imports on this device until you save or delete them. Open Add a stay to retry when you're ready. • Resume interrupted imports without duplicating a stay that was already saved. • Fixed a brief record-access warning that could appear when reopening the app. Hotel search and cloud-assisted booking reading still require a connection. Pending imports do not retry automatically when you reconnect.

Keep more of your stay. • Importing a Stayed JSON export now preserves room numbers, trip purpose and cancellation details. It restores stays, not a full account backup. • Find your data and privacy controls nearer the top of Settings. • Weather for an active stay refreshes when you return. Cancelled stays no longer request a new neighbourhood briefing. • Press and tab effects respect Reduce Motion, and loyalty totals make clearer which period they cover.

We’ve improved how optional usage analytics are handled. Only activity from the App Store version of Stayed is included in the usage patterns used to improve the app, and your consent choice is recorded once. Analytics remains off by default and can be changed at any time in Settings.

Bug fixes mainly, specifically: - If saving a new or edited stay fails, your details stay on screen so you can try again. - Saves and imports confirm success only after your changes are saved. - Clearer stay-card actions, labels and controls, including in dark mode.

Your stays are easier to read. Cards now sit clearly above the background on the Stays list, in both light and dark. Dark mode had it worst: a card could end up darker than the space around it. The colour of the day is unchanged, it just stays behind your stays instead of competing with them. Colour means you can tap it. The accent now marks the one action on a card, not the countdown label beside it. A stay arriving tomorrow still says TOMORROW, just in ink. And nothing asks you to pay on your first stay any more. Stayed Pro is still one tap away in Settings, whenever you want it.

A card that shouts four things equally has told you nothing, so we've changed that. Every stay card now leads with one action, the next thing worth doing (in our opinion, intelligently adjusted based on your travel timeline), and keeps the others quiet beside it. The detailed stay screen now has four chapters: At a glance, At the property, Around you, and After checkout. Your room, door code and the front desk number sit under At the property, where you would look for them.

Add a stay your way. Adding a stay now starts with a choice: bring in the confirmation you were sent, or just the property and your dates. Fill in the rest whenever you are ready. • Bring in a booking. Paste the confirmation or import a file, and Stayed reads the details for you to check before anything is saved. • Add it yourself. A property and your dates are enough to start. Charges, room and loyalty details can wait until you want them. • Your Passport now shares as a picture worth posting, with your map and the flags you have collected on it. • Restore purchase tells you what happened, including when there is nothing to restore. • After an update, a short note tells you what changed.

What’s new in 1.7.0 Note your arrival in a tap. When you’re near a booked hotel, Stayed can suggest a check-in time for you to confirm. It never checks you in automatically, and the approximate location check stays on your phone. Points estimates are now visible on the free plan, just blurred. Reminders keep working even when you have lots of stays booked, with cancellation and points deadlines first.

Tell it when you check in: Your stay now follows what is relevant during your trip, not just the dates. Tap Checked in when you arrive and Checked out when you leave, and the card says so. Left a day early? Say so, and the stay ends there, without touching your booking. Reminders now reach you. Stayed asks once, and tells you what it will send before iOS does: before a free cancellation runs out, on check-in morning with the day's briefing, and before check-out. Nothing else. Your dates stop moving when you fly. A stay on the 4th is the 4th, wherever in the world you open the app, on every screen and in every reminder. The night before a stay, a reminder at six brings your check-in time and the way there. Your Passport counts the hotels you keep going back to, with a stamp for the one you return to most. Eight more hotel brands wear their own mark, including AC Hotels, Aloft, Residence Inn and Four Points.

Did your points actually post? Log what your programme credited and Stayed compares it against what the stay was expected to earn. If nothing arrived at all, it gathers everything the claim form asks for and points you at the programme's own one. Open a stay somewhere you have been before and Stayed says which visit this is, the room you had last time, and whether you said you would book again. Oh, also, your phone now also reads confirmations without limit. The five free reads a month are on the cloud, and it only steps in when your phone comes up short!

Where your year lands, in one place. The tier screen used to give you the answer twice, in two different shapes, with a wall of small print between them. It now says it once, and shows the number you are actually aiming at instead of leaving you to work it out. Points estimates explain themselves. If an estimate needs the booking total, the app asks for it rather than showing nothing at all. Adding a stay by hand now confirms itself, the way a forwarded booking always has. Smaller things: cards press the way they look like they should, photos open from the picture you tapped, and more of the app reads correctly with VoiceOver and at larger text sizes.

Smoother in the hand Photographs now resolve into place instead of blinking in. Anything you dismiss gets out of the way faster, and anything arriving takes its time. Settings reads more calmly: lighter dividers and a little more room between rows. If you use Reduce Motion, more of the app now honours it.

- Your spending, in one currency - Pick your preferred currency in Settings and your Passport totals follow it, converted at the rates on the dates you travelled. - Stays you booked abroad now count towards your spending instead of sitting outside it. - Every stay still shows what you were actually charged, in the currency you paid it in.

Photographs, and where you stand on cancelling. - Tap the photograph on a stay to see the property's own gallery. - Your cancellation terms are now a short timeline: what you can still do, what it costs after, and when each of those changes. Shown in the property's own time, because that is the clock the deadline is normally expected from, not your own timezone. - The ask about the area feature now understands your trip. Suggestions follow your dates and whether you are travelling for work or pleasure, depending on what you search you can get redirected from places shown in chat to Maps and also get some honest walking times information, and you can ask follow-up questions without starting over. - Villas, apartments and guest houses are much easier to find when you add a stay manually. Properties that showed no photograph now should have them, and the map behind a photo-less stay is crisp again for instances where the photo library falls short. Thank you for reporting issues with Bali apartments! - On check-in day your stay card greets you with a short arrival briefing.

The free plan grew. - Keep every stay: the five-stay limit is gone, and your whole travel history fits on the free plan. - Your first loyalty programme is free: night counts, points, certificates and expiry warnings all work. Pro tracks every programme you carry. - The app still reads five booking confirmations for you each month for free. Pro reads them all. - New programme: the Island Insiders Club, for Sandals and Beaches stays. - Stays brought in from a file now bring their countries with them, and their hotels start finding their place on the globe. - Choose your units in Settings: Celsius or Fahrenheit for the forecast, kilometres or miles for distances. - New in Settings: a Change Log, so you can always see how the app is evolving.

A new look for Stayed. The app now sits on an ambient background that follows the time of day, from dawn through to night, and the Passport, the loyalty wallet and every stay card have been redrawn around it. Also in this version: The Passport drill-downs now stand on that same background, instead of a flat dark panel. In "Found in your email", the time a message arrived no longer gets cut off. The sender's address shortens instead, so the time always reads in full. Rows in Settings are divided by one edge again, not two.

A new look, and a few things that were quietly not working. THE LOOK Stayed is built from daylight now. Every screen stands on an ambient wash that takes its colour from the hour, so the app reads warm at dawn, cool through the middle of the day and deep after dark. Cards, sheets and controls are glass over that wash rather than flat panels on it. The app icon is redrawn to match, and four alternates come with it. Choose one in Settings under Preferences. The Passport, the loyalty wallet, Settings and the subscription screen have all been rebuilt on the new surface. The numbers you open to check something, like the qualifying nights ledger, deliberately stay on a solid plate: glass over a figure costs the legibility the figure exists for. FIXED Tapping the middle of a stay card did nothing. Only the parts of the card with something drawn on them responded to a finger, so most of it ignored you. Every part of the card opens the stay now. Removing the last address you accept forwarded mail from used to happen on a swipe with no warning. Because an empty list means no filter, that quietly returned the inbox to accepting mail from any sender. It now tells you that before it happens, and asks. Deleting a loyalty certificate took one tap and could not be undone. It asks first, and says what goes with it. Removing your profile photo did the same, and was styled as the quietest thing on its row. It now reads like what it is, and confirms. ALSO Larger text sizes hold their shape in more places, particularly the qualifying nights ledger, the membership form and the certificate wallet. VoiceOver reads the qualifying nights ledger as one line per stay instead of four, announces the screen that welcomes you after your first stay, and no longer reads a decorative logo before the programme name sitting next to it. Reduce Motion and Reduce Transparency now reach every screen rather than most of them.

Fixes for three things you told us about, and one new thing. Bookings no longer land in the wrong place. A confirmation for a property Apple Maps does not recognise could get attached to a similarly named building near you, which then put the wrong city and the wrong clock on the cancellation deadline. Stayed now keeps the name and address from your own confirmation rather than guessing. The booking review screen fits on smaller iPhones. On narrow screens some controls, including Close, were pushed off the edge. Profile initials handle two surnames properly. A name like Maria Garcia Lopez now shows MG rather than ML. New: you can rate Stayed from Settings, next to Submit feedback.
