I’ve been using the Tacx Training App for a while, and overall it’s a solid cycling platform — especially when used with Garmin devices. However, I’ve noticed some issues that affect usability, particularly on iOS.Observations:On the iPhone 17 Pro Max, custom workouts don’t run properly. They start fine but freeze after 2–3 minutes, requiring a restart. (Free version)The ERG mode also doesn’t work on iPhone — resistance doesn’t adjust as expected.On my Mac, everything works smoothly — no freezing, even with the same custom workouts.When I used the Premium (paid) version, everything worked well both on the iPhone 13 Pro Max and the Mac, with only occasional short freezes.In custom workouts, only the primary target (e.g., power or cadence) is displayed — the secondary target doesn’t appear.This would be a valuable upgrade, since Garmin’s own ecosystem supports both primary and secondary targets, and it would make training more complete.
