Sign in with Apple is here. You can now get into Just Checking In with a single tap, with no code to wait for. Signing up is simpler too. We now start with your email, and your phone number is still there if you prefer it, just one tap away. Chat is more reliable. If you have been offline or had the app in the background, your messages now catch up on their own when you come back. Anything you send while your connection drops will send itself once you are back online, and it will only ever appear once. We also fixed a few lists that were not refreshing the way they should. What's New in 10.1.19 A gentler way to check in, plus a calmer, steadier app. -Surprise me. When you set a check-in reminder, you can now choose "Surprise me" instead of a set time. We will pick a different moment between 9 AM and 5 PM each day, in your own time zone, so the nudge to check in stays a small, welcome surprise. Prefer a set time? "Pick a time" still works exactly as before. -More ways to stay close. You can now keep more than one check-in rhythm with a friend, each on its own schedule. And changing a time asks your friend first, so a check-in is never quietly switched off. -Make it yours. Change your username anytime from Edit Profile. Friends who knew your old name, and any links you already shared, still find you. -Friends, all in one place. Add friends and approve or decline requests right from the Friends tab, with a soft badge when someone is waiting to hear back. -A calmer Home. Your recent activity is back, the check-in card is simpler, and the getting started list tucks itself away once you have settled in. -Smoother and steadier. Friends are easier to find in search, notifications recover on their own, and you will be signed out far less often. Thank you for being here. When you choose who sees a check-in, only those people are notified and can see it. -Adding and accepting friends is smoother. No more stuck buttons or a request that looks sent when it wasn't, and the share sheet can now find anyone on Just Checking In. -Fewer surprises. Inviting friends got a real upgrade: - Invite links now carry who sent them. When your friend joins from your link, you get their friend request automatically. No codes to type. - If your friend already has the app, your link now opens it directly instead of the store. - The app always tells you how an invite ended: request sent, already friends, or waiting on them. Also new: - A Get Started checklist on Home walks new members through setup: reminders, notifications, friends, and your first check-in. - Remove friend is now available on a friend's page, and Settings gains a Blocked users list with one-tap unblock. Fixes: the keyboard no longer covers the invite username field, the app tour can no longer stick around after a notification interrupts it, and two mood faces that could render blank after upgrades now always draw.
