• Multi-frame DICOM files (dental CBCT, Enhanced CT/MR) now open in full — every slice, 3D and MPR — and are stored compactly in their original compressed form. • Colour images (ultrasound, Doppler, dermatoscopy), cine loops and rarer formats — 12-bit JPEG, HTJ2K, Deflate and more — now display correctly. • ZIP archives compressed with Windows' Deflate64 method now open. • New "Report a problem" menu item for a study that opens but doesn't look right. • Smoother catalogue scrolling. • Downloads from links on your local network — a computer or a clinic server.

7z archives now open, whatever the compression — and so do tar.xz and tar.bz2. Clearer import messages: a password-protected archive that isn't a ZIP, a compression method the app can't unpack, or a placeholder file that never finished downloading — with a button to reopen the page when you imported by link. For ZIP files the app now works out exactly how much space unpacking needs. The plates under on-image labels are tidier. Thank you for your error reports — 7z was fixed thanks to them!

Lung and Brain window presets in 2D, MPR and 3D — with the window values (W/L) shown above the buttons, workstation-style. Labels and controls stay readable on bright images. When Yandex Disk refuses a download, the app explains why and offers to open the page in the built-in browser. Files without an extension are recognized by their content. Thank you for your letters and reports!

Opens JPEG-LS studies — a compression some scanners and cloud-film services use; those slices used not to load. A clinic's disc image (ISO) is recognized even inside an archive and without an extension. Portal pages that redirect to the archive are followed automatically. Clear guidance for video clips (ultrasound) and 3D models (STL). Thank you for your reports!

The app now warns you up front when there isn't enough free space to unpack an archive — and tells you how much to free up. Clear guidance for web-portal exports (HTML/XML). Thanks for your error reports!

Minor improvements and fixes.

Clinic portal links now work. If a link opens a page that wants a login or an access code, open it right inside the app: sign in, tap the download button, and the images arrive on their own. And when the page holds a direct link to the archive, the app finds it for you. Clearer messages when the files you picked aren't DICOM: the app names what they actually are — a PDF report or ordinary images — and what to ask the clinic for. Fixed: the density histogram was missing from fine tune on studies with saved settings.

Smarter import. • If the folder you pick contains archives rather than images, the app now unpacks them itself instead of reporting that the files could not be opened. An archive that contains archives is handled the same way. • A clinic disc's Windows viewer (.exe) is first tried as a self-extracting archive, since many of them carry the study inside. If it really is just a program, the app now says so and tells you what to ask the clinic for.

LumaDICOM now runs on iPad — the same interface with a much larger image area, including landscape. Also, DICOM files without the standard file header (seen in older PACS exports) now open.

Downloading by link is now more resilient and noticeably faster: if the connection drops, the transfer automatically resumes where it left off instead of starting over. Download progress is shown more accurately.

New X-Ray rendering mode in the 3D viewer — switch between Volume and X-Ray to see dense bones with dental work and metal hardware highlighted, in a clinical CT-projection style. Series variants now show their full DICOM SeriesDescription (e.g. "Head 0.6 H80s · 432") so you can tell reconstructions apart at a glance. Cleaner 3D rendering: stochastic jitter removes the concentric "iso-density" banding artifacts that occasionally appeared on smooth bone surfaces. Portrait orientation is now locked — no more broken layout after an accidental device rotation.
