Description
Puffin Cloud Browser is the client app that accesses the cloud server which runs the web browser. The Puffin client app and the Puffin cloud server do not communicate in HTTP protocol and the data exchange is not in HTML format. The Puffin client app is like the remote desktop client and the Puffin cloud server is like the remote desktop server. Puffin Cloud Browser gives the audience the illusion of a web browser but it is not, in reality, a web browser. Puffin Cloud Browser can only "display" the web content rendered on the cloud servers but can't "render" the web content itself on the client devices.

Пользуюсь Pro версией данного браузера уже года три-четыре на своем стареньком iPad и отмечу сразу - она значительно быстрее Free версии.
В сравнении с прочими браузерами, многие из которых банально прекратили свою поддержку устройства, со временем Puffin становится только лучше, несмотря на последнее обновление в 2016. Как так получается и в чем фокус? Просто многие, очевидно, не понимают, в чем главная особенность данного браузера и преимущество в сравнении с прочими сратичками.
Puffin - виртуальный браузер, который работает посредством облачного сервиса.
И это дает ему массу преимуществ, относительно привычных нам браузеров: хром, огненная лиса, сафари и прочие яндексы...
1) нагрузка на систему. где хром говорит "your device isn't compatible", а яндекс намертво виснет - Пингвин все тащит без проблем!
2) потребление трафика. Паффин обрабатывает весь трафик на своих серверах, фильтруя сетевой мусор с сайтов и блокируя ненужный пользователю контент, а пользователь получает только результат своих запросов.
3) внешний вид и интерфейс сайтов. интерфейс страниц в Паффине - это максимально полный вариант страниц, а не огрызки заточенные под мобилку. к тому же, с отображением чужих страниц Паффин справляется куда более качественно (и, естественно, быстрее), нежели отдельные фирменные продукты (не будем лишний раз тыкать пальцем).
помимо прочих еще нормальная полноценная поддержка флеш и указателя мышки, кому это бывает нужно.
Паффин - чудесный браузер, но не без изъянов - видео, все же, лучше смотреть в родном браузере устройства, либо посредством специализированных приложений. И это совершенно нормально, тк ничто не идеально!
В общем, Puffin Pro - рекомендую!
