more +++ Hotfix: Display of German Umlauts in Absence Notifications +++
Words containing German umlauts (ä, ö, ü) were causing display issues in absence notifications within emails. These display issues have been resolved, so you can once again send friendly “Grüße” to your colleagues.
+++ Hotfix: Display Issues in the Browser Navigation Bar in Window Mode Resolved +++
When using the Browser module in window mode, the browser’s navigation buttons disappeared behind the iOS window control buttons.
We have adjusted the user interface to prevent this display error.

Release Highlights:
- Accessibility: Dynamic font sizes in the team mail module, when adding shared items, and on the login screen
- Adaptive user interface for SecurePIM on the iPad: Mail, team mails, and camera
- Ease of use: Change display mode for Word and PDF documents independently of system settings
- More user-friendly interface: Liquid Glass, redesigned buttons, and scalable icons
- Ease of use: iOS telephony app as default setting
What's new:
+++ Dynamic Text Sizes in the Team Mails Module, When Adding Shared Items, and on the Login Screen +++
With the latest version of SecurePIM, the Team Mail module now also supports dynamic text sizes.
SecurePIM also automatically adjusts the font size on the pages for adding shared mailboxes, calendars, contacts, and participants, as well as on the login screen, to match the iOS settings.
To display dynamic text in the Mail module, you must enable it in the iOS system settings under “Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size > Larger Text” and additionally in the SecurePIM settings under “General > Dynamic Text.”
+++ Dynamic User Interface in the Mail, Team Mail, and Camera Modules +++
With the current release, we have converted the Mail, Team Mail & Camera modules to an adaptive user interface. The modules are thus the next modules in SecurePIM after the Workspace, Contacts module, Browser, and Documents and Tasks & Notes modules to respond fully adaptively to Stage Manager and Window Management.
+++ Change Display Mode for Documents Independently of System Settings +++
Word and PDF documents can now always be displayed in a light design, regardless of the system settings. The setting can be switched directly in the respective document and always applies to that specific document.
+++ Liquid glass effects in SecurePIM +++
SecurePIM now supports so-called “liquid glass” effects, e.g., when changing modules in the navigation bar or when changing the calendar view in the calendar module.
+++ Redesigned Buttons in SecurePIM Menu and Toolbars +++
As part of Xcode26 support, we have redesigned the buttons and icons in SecurePIM. All buttons and icons now have a border that makes them stand out from the app background. We have also replaced some text-based buttons with icons.
+++ Scalable SF Symbols in the Tasks & Notes and Documents Modules +++
The Tasks & Notes module and the Documents module now support SF icons in the editing bar and in swipe options. SF icons are iOS-native, scalable icons that adapt to the font size setting in the iOS system options.
+++ iOS Telephony App as Default Setting +++
The icon for the native telephone app is now always displayed in the contact list as the default option for calls. In the detailed view for individual contacts, you can still choose between the native telephone app and an external telephone app, provided you have configured one.

+++ Hotfix: Password storage outside container offered for iOS versions > 26.1 +++
In iOS versions > 26.1, when entering passwords in SecurePIM (e.g., Exchange and FileShare passwords), a system pop-up appeared with the option to save the passwords. Tapping “Save” allowed passwords to be saved outside of SecurePIM in Apple's password app.
We have provided this hotfix to prevent this behavior in SecurePIM. Please update SecurePIM to version 9.33.4 immediately.
+++ Hotfix: Smart Card Login Failed with 9.33.2 +++
When using SecurePIM with an external smart card, unlocking the app failed after updating to SecurePIM version 9.33.2. If the app was forced to close and then restarted, the correct smartcard PIN was also rejected during login, making it impossible to log in.

Release Highlights:
- Accessibility: Dynamic text sizes in the Mail module
- Adaptive User Interface for SecurePIM on iPads: Documents, Tasks, and Notes
- Mail & Team Mail: Restrict downgrading of categories when categorizing emails
What's new:
+++ Dynamic Text Sizes in the Mail Module +++
With the current version of SecurePIM, the Mail module now supports dynamic text sizes. The text size on the account page, folder view, inbox, email view, and when composing an email in the email composer automatically adjusts to the individual iOS system settings, improving the readability and usability of the app for users with impaired vision, age-related vision problems, or temporary limitations.
To display dynamic text in the mail module, you must enable it in the iOS system settings under “Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size > Larger Text” and also in the SecurePIM settings under “General > Dynamic Text.”
+++ Dynamic User Interface in the Modules Documents, Tasks & Notes +++
With the current release, we have converted the modules Documents, Tasks, and Notes to an adaptive user interface.
After the Workspace, the Contacts module, and the Browser, these are now the next modules in SecurePIM that respond fully adaptively to Stage Manager and Window Management.
+++ Restrict Downgrading of Categories in Email Categorization +++
Administration teams now have the option to prevent the downgrading of an email's category. Users can no longer select a lower category when replying to or forwarding an email that has been assigned a category.

9.33.2 05/11/2025
Release Highlights:
- Adaptive User Interface for SecurePIM on iPad: Workspace, Contacts & Browser
- Preparing for Adaptive SecurePIM: Consistent UI Between iPhones and iPads
- Mail: Select Email Account when Composing Messages
- Browser: Search for Words on Web Pages
- Contacts: Company or Job Title in Contact List
- Usability Improvements: Loading Indicator when Exporting Contacts & Clear Contrast Lines in Calendar Module
What's new:
+++ Adaptive User Interface for SecurePIM on iPad +++
With this and subsequent releases, we will gradually transition SecurePIM to an adaptive user interface. This UI dynamically adapts to different window sizes and is optimized for small windows (“Small Canvas”) on the iPad.
This adjustment enables improved use of Stage Manager on iPads and external displays with iPadOS, while also supporting the new window management features. The result is a secure, ultra-mobile workspace that can effectively replace a laptop.
Our goal is to enable you to work securely and productively anytime, anywhere – completely without a laptop.
+++ Dynamic User Interface in the Browser Module +++
With the current release, we have converted the Browser module to an adaptive user interface. The Browser is now the second module in SecurePIM after the Workspace that responds fully adaptively to Stage Manager and Window Management.
+++ Dynamic Display of the Contacts Module +++
The display of the Contacts module now also adapts to the window size and is shown correctly even in smaller window sizes.
+++ Dynamic Adjustment of Workspace Elements +++
The display of the rows and columns in which the icons (e.g., modules and bookmarks) are arranged in the workspace now remains constant even when the iPad is rotated or the window size is changed with Stage Manager.
+++ Preparing for Adaptive SecurePIM: Consistent UI Between iPhones and iPads +++
The browser module and workspace were just the beginning: In preparation for a fully adaptive SecurePIM, we have standardized the SecurePIM user interface on iPhones and iPads across multiple modules.
+++Select Email Account When Creating Messages +++
When creating, replying to, or forwarding emails, as well as when sending documents directly from the Documents module or the document editor, you can now select the account used in the Mail module, provided you have more than one account stored.
+++Word Search on Web Pages +++
You can now use Word Search to find specific terms on a web page. To do this, tap the icon for more options in the navigation bar and select the “Word search” option from the context menu.
+++Company or Job Title in the Contact List +++
The company name and job title of your contacts are now shown in the contact list and when searching for contacts – provided you have saved this information for the respective contact.
+++ Loading Indicator When Exporting Contacts +++
When exporting contacts, SecurePIM now displays a loading indicator that temporarily blocks the interface during the process.
+++ Clear Contrast Lines in the Calendar Module +++
We have also adjusted the dividing lines in the calendar to make them easier to see.

- Citrix support: VDI support in the browser on iPads
- Calendar: “Different work location” & “Out of office” for calendar events
- Contacts: Extended field mapping for contacts from Active Directory
- Documents: Improved file name checking for uploads
What's new:
+++ Full-screen Mode for External Screens with Stage Manager +++
You can now use SecurePIM in full-screen mode on external screens using Stage Manager.
This allows you to make optimal use of both the iPad and an external display by grouping windows, adjusting their size, and rearranging them.
+++ Citrix Support: VDI Support in Browser on iPads +++
Websockets are enabled by default with this release. With Websockets support, you can, for example, access a virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) via Citrix on the go on your iPad.
+++ “Working Elsewhere” & “Out of Office” for Calendar Events +++
We have added and revised the statuses for calendar events to better reflect your ultra-mobile workday: Select the status “Working Elsewhere” if you are working remotely or from home, for example. The “Working Elsewhere” status can currently only be shown in read-only mode in main calendars.
Do you have a private appointment, are you on a business trip, or are you unavailable for other reasons? No problem, the “Out of Office” status is here to help.
+++ Extended Field Mapping for Contacts from Active Directory +++
SecurePIM now supports improved contact creation with extended data from Active Directory. When saving a contact based on AD or GAL search results, the OtherTelephone and OtherFax fields are automatically mapped to BusinessPhone2 and HomeFax, respectively.
+++ Improved File Name Check for Uploads +++
SecurePIM now prevents the use of unsupported characters in file names when creating or renaming files – i.e., before and not just during the upload.

What's new:
+++ Team Mails: New options to organize your emails +++
We're a German company, so for us order is half the battle. You can now mark emails as read or unread, move emails, set flags, and delete emails. This tidies up your shared mailboxes and makes your life and collaboration with others much easier. Enjoy giving it a try.
+++ Curtain up for the new open and closed channels +++
Channels in SecurePIM Messenger are the perfect place to share ideas and files with your team, make decisions, or just meet for a virtual coffee and chat. All of this securely and yet easily.
We took the next step to make channels easier to use, more intuitive, and more powerful: You can now choose between open and closed channels.
In an open channel, you don’t need to add participants beforehand. Just send the corresponding channel link and optional channel PIN to the ones you’d like to have in there. And that’s it. Open channels are thus the perfect place for cross-functional projects and all-hands meeting, for example. If you’ve invited someone to a channel by mistake, you can revoke that person's access to the channel again using the "Block participant" option.
In a closed channel, as the term indicates, only a dedicated group of people is allowed to see the shared channel contents and join meetings. Here, you’ll have to add the participants first. You may then send the channel link to these participants to join a meeting. So, closed channels are perfectly suited for team meetings, for example.
The setup of a channel is still easy as pie: You only need to decide for an open or a closed channel. The app then guides you through the necessary steps. Enjoy giving it a try and we’re happy to receive your feedback!
What's better:
+++ "Modern Authentication" now available for additional accounts only +++
If you added your default account with basic authentication or NTLM, you can now use all available authentication methods (Basic, NTLM or OAuth) for your additional accounts, e.g., if you want to add an additional account from a cloud server.
+++ New colors for SecurePIM +++
SecurePIM shines in new colors: In this version, we've optimized the app's color palette. The user interface is now not only looking nicer. Thanks to clearer contrasts between background and foreground colors, you can also see contents much better, for example, when logging in and registering with SecurePIM.
+++ SecurePIM Messenger: Quickly join channel meetings +++
With this release, you can easily join a channel meeting via a dedicated channel link. You'll receive this link from the person who invites you, e.g., by email. All you now have to do is tap on this link in SecurePIM, e.g., in the Mail module or in the Calendar. You'll then be directed to the channel and can join the meeting.

How do you like our app? We're happy to receive your feedback and your review on the App Store.
See you next release…

8.73.2 01/02/2023
+++ Hotfix: Display of German Umlauts in Absence Notifications +++
Words containing German umlauts (ä, ö, ü) were causing display issues in absence notifications within emails. These display issues have been resolved, so you can once again send friendly “Grüße” to your colleagues.
+++ Hotfix: Display Issues in the Browser Navigation Bar in Window Mode Resolved +++
When using the Browser module in window mode, the browser’s navigation buttons disappeared behind the iOS window control buttons.
We have adjusted the user interface to prevent this display error.
+++ Hotfix: Missing Sender Selection when Multiple Accounts Are Registered +++
The button for selecting the sender address was not displayed when composing emails in the Mail module if you had registered more than one primary email account. The display error has been fixed; you can now switch between your sender addresses as usual.
