This release fixes two bugs pertaining to the ordering of custom categories: - sometimes, after duplicating a list, some categories in the duplicated list could no longer be reordered - when reordering categories within a list, the changes did not immediately take effect

This release contains the following improvements and bug fixes: - The description of app features for new users is more concise, and it better outlines the differences between the free version and the premium version of the app. - Minor layout changes have been made to improve the appearance of the app across different versions of iOS. - Placeholders are now more informative when the main screen displays no lists and when a list has no visible items. - Reminders export is now disabled when there are no items available to export. - The alert that is displayed when the user tries to import items from a reminders list containing no items is now more informative. - Error messages are now more informative when a purchase fails due to a networking error.

This version of WhateverList contains expanded color palettes for your lists, plus improvements to the process of importing items from photos. New Features: - Additional color palettes have been added, so you can create lists spanning a greater variety of colors. To use these colors, navigate to the Add or Edit List screen, and tap the selected color. This will take you to a screen containing 7 color palettes with 24 colors each. Improvements: - The photo import feature has been improved to better handle items that span multiple lines. By default, WhateverList tries to detect single items that are split across lines and intelligently merges them; if necessary, this may be disabled by going to Settings > Photo Import Options and turning off the auto-merge option. It is also possible to merge consecutive lines manually via a long-press on an item during the photo import process. During photo import, you can also exclude certain items by swiping from the right and tapping the delete button. - Toolbars and buttons throughout the app have been modified for greater consistency with the iOS 26 design.

New Features - Users can now navigate between lists using the list title menu regardless of iOS version - Keyboard navigation within text fields has been improved in the iPad/macOS versions of the app: Return presses the "save item" button and Command+Return presses the "save item and add another" button; Tab navigates between text fields Improvements - Animations throughout the app should now be smoother - After copying or moving items, importing to or from reminders, or importing from a photo, an alert is now presented showing the status of the operation - The duplicate list functionality was moved to the main screen/sidebar instead of within the list detail view - Improvements have been made to the appearance of the copy/move items and reminders import/export screens Bug Fixes - Fixed a bug in which the app would not scroll to a newly added item - Fixed a text editing bug in the iPad/macOS version of the app in which the cursor would sometimes change position while editing - Fixed a bug in which changing the name of a list would not propagate changes to a previously scheduled notification for that list - Fixed a bug in which an operation that performed no changes could make the undo feature appear to be broken - Fixed a bug in which lists would occasionally appear in the wrong order for premium users Other Changes - Privacy-preserving and anonymized telemetry was added in order to give insight into how the app is being used; see the app's privacy policy for details.

This version implements several minor bug fixes and enhancements throughout the app. Bug Fixes: - fixed an issue in which newly created categories did not initially appear within the recategorize menu - fixed an issue in which long category names were being unnecessarily split into multiple lines - fixed an issue which could make certain items impossible to delete - fixed an issue in which duplicating a list was failing to copy empty categories to the new list Enhancements: - for convenience, the category management view now contains the number of items for each category - when editing multiple items from a list, edit mode is now exited automatically when the deletion of items results in no remaining visible items - when editing multiple items from a list, the recategorize button is disabled if all selected items are already in the destination category

The design of the app has been changed in a few places throughout the app:- on iPad, the toolbars have been modified for consistency with the layout on iPhone; - The per-list menu options have been rearranged: there is now a "Go to List" option that allows easy navigation between lists, and there is an "Import/Export" option that collects the reminders import/export and photo import. - Various small changes to wording have been made throughout the app.
