Lots of room for improvement, good to see its inception though. I so wonder if this was officially sourced through a federal ministry or independent.Many opportunities, some below, I’m suspicious of the apps actual origin. The default screen could be better, rather than a blank map with “search” at the top, perhaps a list of sub-categories on the left, don’t let the map monopolize the screen when it’s not providing info yet.From the sub categories, a search dialogue that is human friendly. Given people are directed to 211 for certain crisis needs, should that be top of the page? Humans in crises don’t tolerate technology very well, they just need a place to land quickly. The menus at the bottom feel like an antiquated attempt to replicate the feel of a browser. Can the app be designed to be a more familiar layout?Menus - search- it’s already on the top of the screen and has no context. Search services? Name? Location? Number? Not going to be intuitive to all end-usersUpdates - curious why the app needs this in the interface? Apps update auto as available via official App Store. Even if auto update off, it’s easy enough to auto check on load and display it needs to be updated. Contact - conflicts with “contacts” and typical dialogue. The content suggests it’s actually location specific resources to contact. Perhaps use the device location, or have it prompt one and done to specify which provide the end user is in.Menus - a nested menu in a menu bar isn’t typical. Also, it leads to the tradition content of a settings menu bar.
