APTN lumi is a new streaming service that brings you Indigenous-focused content. Watch a variety of TV shows, documentaries, kids’ shows and much more on your desktop or mobile device. Many programs are available in French and a variety of Indigenous languages, and the extensive catalogue is frequently updated with new programs.

Great app, great content!
I downloaded the app to watch First Contact (which I openly recommend to anyone), and I found so much more indigenous content to explore! As much as I wish the free trial of premium were longer and that I could choose when it started, the premium version is not very expensive and, in my opinion, totally worth it to see movies and shows that you can’t find anywhere else. From kids shows to docuseries to dramas, this channel and app opened my eyes to cultures, perspectives, and languages that I never knew existed.
Says no content
App loads, I sign in and select profile, and see filters, but app says there is no content available.
I’m on up to date iOS on an XR.
Great service on my desktop though!
Love, but has bugs
I absolutely adore this app, and I understand it is a very early version, but I can’t find a way to tell developers of problems other than leaving a review here. I loved my experience so much that I did start paying for subscription. I especially like “Moosemeat & Marmalade”. I wanted to show it to a family member, so I tried to use the google cast function. Doing so switched the language settings to Cree-dub with no subtitles. Watching it in the app switched it back to my normal settings of English audio with English subtitles. However, I found there was no way to control the audio & subtitles while casting or ensure that my settings weren’t changed. I suspect that this problem exists for more than one show, but I only tried it with “Moosemeat & Marmalade.”
