Avenza Maps Pro subscription required for commercial, academic, government, and professional use.
Avenza Maps Plus and Pro are available as annual subscriptions. You can subscribe and pay through your Apple ID. Subscriptions are 12 months in duration and will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of your selected plan. Auto-renewal can be turned off in your iTunes Account Settings. If you didn’t use iTunes to subscribe, you can manage your subscription through Avenza.

No more free maps

Purchased maps disappeared

Maps I purchased last summer have disappeared and are no longer available on the map store. Buyer beware. I’ll be pursuing a refund.

This is usually caused by a backup done through iCloud. As long as the maps were purchased while logged into an Avenza Maps account, they can be redownloaded by logging out and back into your account via the head icon at the top of the My Maps tab. If the maps were purchased while not logged in, please reach out to us via support.avenzamaps.com with the Local Purchase History from the device used to purchase the maps (Avenza Maps > Settings > General > Debug Settings > Map Store Settings > Local Purchase History) we can get those maps linked to your account.
Too expensive and too limiting in free version

Three maps but even importing the second map brings up a warning that the map is inactive. First I had to register before I could even try the app. A demo map counts as one of the three. Importing a second map brought up the warning that it is inactive. While PDF maps seem to hold some promise for easy adoption, Avenza’s approach makes it a poor choice for even recreational use. It would be better to offer a month trial first.
