It's just a well-known Backgammon game: everything you need to play and nothing more:
• a simple and nice interface
• play alone, with a friend or online
• works offline without internet
• wooden board and atmosphere
• both vertical and horizontal board orientations are supported
• the Doubling cube with the Crawford rule.
The dice are thrown randomly and do not depend on who is playing, AI level and board conditions.

Backgammon is one of the oldest board games, dating back about 5,000 years. Now the game is popular worldwide.
Playing backgammon requires strategy, tactics and luck. With each roll of the dice, players choose from a variety of options to move the checkers, and must anticipate their opponents’ possible counter-moves.
In one game, luck in rolling the dice can be critical, but in a series of games, skill is critical to win.

Each player has 15 checkers of a different color that move in opposite directions counting the points according to the numbers rolled by a pair of dice. The player first to get his checkers around, and then off the board, wins the game.

This is a fun version of the classic backgammon board game. One of the few issues I had was with the scoring system seeming to be a little off to my understanding where the computer will occasionally get two points for winning when according to the rules they should only get one point. Besides that the difficulty of the computer player is also a little out of whack, at least as a beginner I find the easy level to be pretty challenging from time to time, I think I usually will win maybe 30-40% of my matches.

Earned 2 stars because game is fun for 2 players and the graphics/movement are nice. Otherwise the pattern of game AI cheating becomes obvious after a while so one must play in a certain way against the game which can be frustrating and boring. I have an Apple Arcade subscription so I can play better quality games and I happen to really like backgammon. I have switched back to a different game with ads after playing this version. What’s the point of having a subscription then?Too many negative reviews for this game in the last year to deserve its high star rating. Developers seem deaf to the complaints and bad reviews. Would gladly amend my review if game is fixed.

I use another app with ads because the dice algorithm in this app is frustrating. I wish arcade had another version of backgammon because this is terrible.
If you leave a checker open it will be blotted

The game looks great. The difficulty levels are only separated by exceptional dice rolls on the part of your computerized opponent not better game play. At the hard level if you are blotted you will never get back on. I wish the designers would fix the dice rolling because mechanically and visually it is one of the nicest games out there.
