Baker Buddy is the app built by home bakers, for home bakers. When determining the correct formula for a recipe, bakers use baker's percentages — weights calculated as a percentage of the flour weight. This app allows a baker to simply enter their ingredient percentages and all the calculations are taken care of. Determining measurements for the perfect loaf of bread is tedious. With Baker Buddy all you have to do is enter your target end weight and the baker percentages of your ingredients. Instead of manually calculating your ingredients based on the weight of the flour, the app takes care of everything for you. There's even a handy multiplier feature for when you need to scale up. All of your recipes are stored in your phone for later editing and viewing.

This works perfectly for me! It makes it so easy to get making bread and pizza dough! If I’m making loaves I need a certain amount of dough but if I’m making rolls with the same formula the amount of dough needed changes, this app makes that kind of thing easy. I would recommend adding 40 or 50 grams to your planned final weight to make up for losses of dough in the process so you have what you need for the bread you want to make.

This app won’t work on my iPad. It says I need to add ingredients when I have already added my ingredients and won’t calculate. It also doesn’t treat bakers percentages in the correct way as flour is supposed too be 100% and other ingredient are a percentage of this.
