Worked flawlessly on my M4 and X3 M40i. Only issue I found was the “body domain controller” on the X3 it said my adapter wasn’t compatible? Or an error along those lines. But otherwise I was still able to code a few neat features on the X3 including no auto start, closing the tailgate with the remote and no active sound. $50 for the app and $20 for the adapter is well worth it for two vehicles.
