Best password manager - easily
In a world where reviews are constantly requested and shoved down your throat, everything is a trade secret and a subscription model, Bitwarden is a breath of fresh air. It’s a free, open source, non-pushy, non-subscription based app that works across every major platform and works well. I cannot recommend it enough and as a result of this I do actually pay for their secure storage subscription, although I don’t use it. I think that this is the only password/account manager you need.
Security flaw
If you change your master password it will not automatically update to your devices. You have to manually log out and back in. My iPad was using the old master password for days after changing it. Big security issue if my password was compromised.
Great app
Lovely UI, great to use. It’s great that the app offers the ability to self host your if you wish to go that route.
Update: The new redesign looks and works great so far, thanks for all the hard work. Loving the theming options!
