Excellent personal information management software

I have been using this app for storing and recalling my personal information including passwords. I can access my personal information at any time.
Use BitWarden instead.

Used to be my go to password manager. Free tier was great for what I needed. The latest announcement that free tier is changing to only support 1 type of device (mobile or desktop) is odd and feels like a scam to me. Bitwarden seems like the best option if you’re not looking to get stuck with a monthly subscription and want to be able to use your passwords on both desktop and mobile.
Goodbye LastPass, hello Bitwarden

I knew this was gonna happen, when dumpster fire of a company LogMeIn bought out LastPass. Just like everything else they touch, they have now ran this amazing company into the ground too. These goons have just pulled the rug from under millions of their loyal free users, in order to try and blackmail them into upgrading to a paid plan by holding their passwords hostage. They introduced a limitation, which made their free plan completely unusable - by locking use by DEVICE TYPE. So everyone, who I helped to sign up for LastPass over the years, who have a very simple setup with just 1 computer + 1 mobile and maybe a tablet device (like most old people or non-tech savvy users) now won’t be able to use LastPass at all. Because you either have to use it on Desktop only or on Mobiles only. What a “genius” idea. The whole point of a password manager is to unify your passwords. And for non-savvy users they don’t need anything, other than ability to auto-fill their password on their computer & occasionally on the phone. And now it’s no longer possible with LastPass. What a joke.To anyone reading this - move to Bitwarden, before it’s too late. Given LastPass/LogMeIn scammy tactics, they might put exporting behind a paywall soon and then you’ll be really screwed.

The new changes to the free mode made me instantly switch. Only allowing EITHER computer OR phone unless you pay is basically unusable. What’s the point of syncing passwords if you can’t sync between your phone and computer. Useless. I’ve been using LastPass for years, but now it’s time to look at the many FREE competitors.
You'll have a more reliable experience thanks to various minor bug fixes.
