Bug fix : Blackboard App not redirecting to login page on session timeout. Blackboard App closed when a session timed out, which required a user to reopen the app again to login. The app now correctly redirects to login screen when a session times out.

Feature: Biometric & login enhancements (mobile) - FTW login. Now available to users authenticating via Force Web Login. Bug fixes: - Redundant LTI authentication prompts in Blackboard Ultra. When accessing Google Workspace content, users are no longer prompted to re‑authenticate their Google account for each item after they are signed in. - Discussion item in Calendar screen. A Discussion item navigates to corresponding Ultra page instead of showing error message.

Feature updates Splash Screen image update. The splash screen image displayed during app launch is updated for mobile devices. The new design reflects the Blackboard company’s new branding. Bug fix Unable to open files in Original Course View on Blackboard App. After selecting a file in Original Course View, a white screen appears and no further action occurs. The file does not open.

Grades now respect the user’s language and locale settings, displaying numeric values using the appropriate decimal separator. Bug Fix - Jones & Bartlett content launch on iPhone. Content from Jones & Bartlett 4th Edition failed to open, preventing LTI content from launching correctly in Blackboard App.

Blackboard App removes the native header for a cleaner look and aligns navigation with the system design, ensuring consistency across app and web. - Offline Content Auto-Redirection Flow. Users can easily follow discussions of their choice to receive timely updates on new contributions from peers or instructors. Institutions can set notification defaults for discussion activity and responses for followed discussions.

Bug Fixes: - Messages not loading on Messages page. - On the Discussion Board, the button to submit posts is not identified as Submit button on screen readers.
