The 2024 software updates have tremendously improved the player. The company also seemed to have adopted a more frequent update cycle. This is good news for music lovers. Encouraged by the nice software, I have recently purchased the Bluesound Node 2024 with its new chip. It sounds way better than its predecessor. Even though I have built-in streamers from AV receivers, I found myself using the Node more. As promised by the manufacturer, the new Bluesound Node now can play DSD tracks. Thank you for the nice feature. If I can make a suggestion, I would like to have an option for the player not to automatically convert DSD to PCM, so my DAC can do the conversation when connected with USB. All in all, I am very pleased with the Node software and hardware.

I am really happy with this player it is great for organizing your different music libraries. One suggestion I would like to see is allowing you to skip songs on the iOS locked screen so you don’t have to open up the app everytime

This always has issues connecting. Terrible user interface. Going to get rid of all my nad and blueos equipment and get something better.

Connection with iPhone keeps dropping out and then reconnecting after a few minutes. Very frustrating. Looking to replace my Node with another streamer.
