Emergency Calls
CounterPath's Bria mobile products provide handling designed to redirect emergency calls to the Native Cellular dialer when possible on a best reasonable commercial efforts basis, however this functionality is also dependent on the operating system of the mobile phone which is outside of our control and subject to change at any time. As a result, the official position of CounterPath is that CounterPath's Bria product is not intended, designed, or fit for placing, carrying or supporting Emergency Calls. CounterPath will not be liable for any costs or damages arising either directly nor indirectly from the use of the software for Emergency Calls. Using Bria as a default dialer may interfere with dialing emergency services.

Decent offering but expensive
Bria works for the most part however there are limitations on the free offering such as the lack of TLS and the inability to select preferred codecs. I am happy to pay for the upgrade if it was reasonably priced but it is on the higher end for me. While I no longer use Bria, I still think it has a decent offering if you are willing to overlook the limitations.

Hi Haris, thank you for your feedback. As you mentioned, Bria Solo-Free has limited features. Also, please note that Bria Solo-Free will be EOL soon.
killing an old product when new is not ready
old bria phone was removed from app store when we paid for. moving to new subscription model, which is fine, but when new product is nothing compared to old one is disappointing.

Are you referring to the old Bria for iPhone app? This product was decommissioned several years ago. Bria Mobile, Solo, and Teams all have subscription models.
No Refund Despite Limited Functionality
I signed up for Bria Solo but faced several issues. The trial expired before my VoIP number could be ported, and though it lists monthly pricing, the minimum subscription required is for a full year. Key features like SMS and reliable voice transmission were lacking; my voice quality was so poor that I was inaudible. Additionally, the voicemail system failed to recognize my caller ID. After switching to another product, I requested a refund within a month of purchase but was denied based on their policy. Buyer beware.
