Easily find Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS)!

This app helps you locate all bright comets currently visible in the night sky. Just hold your device up to the sky and find the red target marker on the screen. That's where the comet is! The app uses your location and up-to-date ephemerides from the NASA JPL's Horizons database to calculate the comet's position.

What’s New

- Added detailed orbit information for each comet.
- UI improvements.

Pretty Good

Other apps were bad but this helped me. I think it was Neowise! Make an app for the comet “Atlas” next year! 👍

What gives?

No tracking. Does not show comet.

Prior to leaving this I read what to do. I entered my location and still the app does not track the comet.

Developer Response ,

The app needs your location and access to the compass in order to be working correctly. That doesn't seem to be the case for you. Go to the Setting App, Privacy, then Location Services. Check that the Comet NEOWISE app has access to you location. In addition, tap on "System Services" and make sure "Compass Calibration" is turned on.
