The Clicks app unlocks new features for your keyboard. Toggle your keyboard backlight between 'automatic' and off. Use this feature to check the status of your backlight and reset it to automatic mode if it's been accidentally disabled through the keyboard shortcut. Caps lock - Control the behaviour of the shift key. When turned on, pressing the shift key once makes the next charater a capital letter. Double clicking the shift key enables shift lock. When disabled, you must press and hold shift to get a captial letter. Alt lock - Control the behaviour of the '123' key. When turned on, pressing the '123' key once makes the next typed character a number of symbol. Double clicking the shift key enables number lock - (great for typing phone numbers of long number strings!). When disabled, you must press and hold '123' to get numbers and symbols. Soft return - Choose between using the return to add a carriage return (soft return) or send a message (hard return). Clicks key customization - Decide whether you want the Clicks key to function as Tab or Control Cursor mode - Enable cursor mode to use WASD and IJKL as directional cursor keys Currency symbol - Customize your currency symbol Create or log in to your Clicks Keyboard account to get updated about the latest features coming to your Clicks Keyboard Update your keyboard firmware over the air to optimize the typing experience. Appreciate the keyboard, however, there is room for improvement in programming and user customization of key configurations. The primary concern lies with the space bar. Frequently, when typing into a search bar, the space bar fails to register on the initial click. Subsequently, upon pressing it again, unintended selections are made. Please fix this!

Keys require too much force to press!

I had a blackberry when I was a kid so I know how easy it can be to press on the keys. 1 minute after starting to use the clicks keyboard I started getting nerve pains in my wrist. haven’t had nerve pain while typing in many many years except for when I was using the non-ergonomic keyboard of my desktop too much. for $200 it would be good to have a mini trackball. Also, the keyboard is too long, the width should be shrunken somehow. On my iPhone 15 Pro Max, the addition of the keyboard makes the phone annoyingly long. i’m still gonna keep it because it gives me extra screen space even though I get lots of screen space using my Samsung Z fold6. Voice typing function isn’t working when writing this review. full stop punctuation should be more easily accessible. i have tiny hands so the 123 is too far to reach with my thumb. still severely shocked at how hard it is to type; it makes my phone almost fall out of my hands. if you didn’t have repetitive stress injury before, you will now probably…the fact that cmd plus any other command has to be pressed at the same time is aggravating. why can’t commands keys be pressed in succession? one thing that would help a lot in typing without looking at the keyboard is some raised keys where you can feel the cmd key by touch etc. sigh, this is my 1st day using clicks & after i chose ‘power savin’ the keyboard permanently disconnected. One thing I’m a bit surprised about is how hard it is to push the phone buttons with the clicks case on; my mous phone case didn’t require that much effort & it’s the hard clear case. EDIT: back of keyboard case is too slippery but sides have some grip; back needs more grip. EDIT 2: not being compatible with at least official apple magsafe accessories is a big deal breaker i only charge wirelessly but still will keep clicks for now. EDIT 3: the clicks’s usbc port doesn’t let you plug in offical apple charger wires “securely”. the port doesn’t feel like other usbc ports; so i kept pushing the charger in the port thinking it wasn’t secure. also, my iphone 15 pro max keeps making a sound every few seconds as it’s charging. this is my 1st time charging this phone with a wire so maybe it’s normal. EDIT 4: be warned: clicks refuses to charge with official charging cable that came with my ipad pro. but charges with a samsung charger wire! the reason it was beeping before is because it wasn’t charging at all.

Hello, globe key can toggle emoji keyboard (when there are two keyboards) on iOS 18.1, but the mechanism stop working on iOS 18.2. It's not controlled by app, but by iOS. We will track this issue, hoping that Apple can fix this issue soon.

I install the app. Open it and sign into my Apple ID account. Set up my parameters - all good! Minutes later the companion app doesn’t recognize the device. I have to constantly pull my iPhone 15 Pro out from the Clicks keyboard and insert it again. App works for a few minutes, same thing. Over and over again . . . Frustrating!
