Open bags stay easy to reach. Finished and archived bags step aside when you brew. Merge copies of a coffee into one bag. Your cups stay with it. A brew updates that bag on your other phone. A sheet can tell you when a bag is at its best. Espresso dial-in follows your grinder's marks. Press, Melitta, and siphon have another recipe. Notes stay readable in the dark. A new install asks how you brew, then walks you to a first cup. Machines have a picture. The iPhone island timer is shorter.

Catalog pills switch bug fixed. Espresso dial-in follows the grinder you pick, with that grinder's marks. The shelf leads with bags you have open. Finished and Archived stay folded. The same coffee saved twice can be merged into one bag, and the cups stay. Brewing from a bag on one phone updates how much is left on the other. A sheet opens when a bag enters its peak, and again in the last few days. Each espresso machine in Setup has a picture, in light and in dark.

Scan a bag in a few photos. Each photo fills in more of the label, and chips show what is still missing. The bag page is easier to read, with Your bag, Freshness, and The coffee in their own groups. Fifteen more coffee varieties, including Arara, and wet-hulled is now its own process. When you set up a brew, Back returns to the step before instead of Home.

The You tab is a little more organized. There is less to read. Each row is the name. The default Clever recipe shows how much water to add. Insights is built around the brews you have logged. You can see how often they fell outside the peak window, and open a card to see the bag. A bag with a roast date shows if the coffee is still resting, in its peak, or past it. Frozen pauses that count. You can mark a bag as pre-ground. Brewing it no longer asks for a grinder or a grind size.

The plus button names the next step. Tap + for Start a brew, Log a cup, Add a bag, or Brew again. On Home, Last used opens that journal entry. Brew again on the entry uses the same specs. Setup extras sit under the three dots. Gear pickers open fuller and line up with each other. Buttons around brew, log, and bags now say the job more clearly.

- Share on the recipe page makes a link your friend can open in Coado. A catalog recipe opens as that same recipe. A recipe you wrote or changed is a copy they can brew, then save if they want. - You can also start a brew on the phone and follow it on Apple Watch. The Watch shows the step you are on, the time, and the same Pause, Continue, and Finish buttons. - The brew screen is easier to glance at. The step you are on is large, with grams or time in the middle, and the next step waiting underneath.

We added a brand new Home Screen widget set. Pin a saved recipe and start it from the widget. Repeat the last cup, or log one you have not reviewed yet. Put a bag on the screen to see how much is left and whether it is still fresh. Progress shows the days you logged a cup this month, or over the last 60 days. These widgets are included with Coado+.

Dialing in espresso just got easier. Choose your bag and grinder, pull a shot, tell Coado how it tasted, and get a clear suggestion for what to try next. You can also compare your latest shot with your best one. Grinder settings now match the markings on your actual grinder, whether it uses clicks, ticks, or a numbered dial. We’ve also improved Insights so it can find more useful patterns in the brews you’ve logged.
