Dead Man's Switch is a digital dead man's switch for your phone. Set a check-in interval, tap to check in regularly, and if you ever miss a deadline, the app automatically emails or texts the contacts you've chosen — with the message you wrote.
Use it for lone hikes, solo travel, living alone, risky chronic conditions, or simple peace of mind for the people who care about you.
How it works:
• Pick a check-in interval (minutes, hours, or days)
• Add the people who should hear from you if you go silent
• Write the message they'll receive
• Tap to start; tap again any time to check in
• Reminders at 75% and 90% before the alert fires
• Miss the deadline and your contacts get the message automatically
Email alerts are included. SMS alerts use a small refillable credit balance via in-app purchase — handy when an email might be missed.
