What’s New in eMote 1.2 Highlight Feature: An Apple Watch companion app is now available. Once the iOS app is paired with an eReader, your Apple Watch can be used to turn pages in three ways: • Tapping the screen • Turning the Digital Crown • Using the double-pinch gesture (advances pages only) Bug fixes and improvements • Added a Hidden Features section in Settings to explain features that aren’t immediately discoverable • Improved reliability of the volume button page-turning feature • Added a Restart Advertising option to help recover from connection issues without clearing all pairings

What’s New in This Version of eMote! - Lowered the minimum iOS requirement to iOS 17.6 (previously required iOS 26). - New Reading Mode: Press and hold anywhere on the remote surface to dim and black out the screen to help preserve battery life. The remote’s touch zones and behavior remain active even while hidden. - Invert directionality option: Choose whether left advances and right goes back, or vice versa. - Alternative touch layout: Option to use top and bottom touch zones instead of left and right. Works together with the invert directionality setting. - Theme support for Settings: Choose between Light, Dark, or System themes instead of always following the system appearance. - App Store Review: Added a button on the About the Developer page to easily leave a review. - Rearranged some UI elements, pairing help is now at the bottom of the settings screen.
