EQTB
Save and solve your equations!
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Your formulas, saved the way you'll actually want to find them again.
Equation Toolbox stores each formula with what every letter means and the unit it's in — not as a photo of a page, but as real structure you can search, edit and solve.
SOLVE FOR ANY VARIABLE
Open a formula, type in the values you know, and leave the one you don't blank. It solves for that one. No rearranging by hand. When the algebra won't isolate cleanly, it falls back to a numeric answer.
BUILT AROUND WHAT A FORMULA ACTUALLY IS
Every equation you save keeps:
• A name you'll still recognise in three weeks
• The formula itself, properly typeset
• One row per variable — the symbol, what it means, and its unit
• Tags and notes for anything else worth remembering
ORGANISE BY CLASS
Make folders for the courses you're actually taking. An equation can sit in more than one, because half of them do. Favourite the ones you reach for most and they stay at the top of your home screen.
FIND IT FAST
Search covers names, variables and tags — so you can find a formula by the letter you remember, not just by its title.
ON YOUR PHONE AND IN YOUR BROWSER
Sign in once. Anything you save on your phone is waiting for you at equationtoolbox.com, and anything you add there shows up here.
SHARE A FORMULA
Send any equation as a clean card, with its symbols, descriptions and units on it.
Free. Built for the physics, chemistry, calculus and engineering students who are tired of scrolling back through a camera roll to find one formula.
