just some comments.
hello. disclaimer, i hope nobody will be offended by this. other people’s opinions and thoughts will be included as well in this review. 1. plot / storyline: 2.8/5. i am a sucker for the enemies / rivals to lovers trope. i think this game has a great story with fun interactions, but i had a mini problem with how the story is portrayed to be “rivals to lovers”. i suppose micah and mc could have been playful-ish rivals and the game had mentioned several times that they are rivals, but in my opinion, it did not really show much of it and just went head-on to flirting and saying ‘i like you’ 3 days into the route ignoring the ‘rivals’ part. the story is..okay overall, however. 2. pacing: 2.5/5. i found the pacing to be alright. not astronomically bad, but not exceptionally great. the story, however, was okay and it semi-distracted me from the fact that micah and mc fell in love in less than 6 days, not even a week. i personally think that people like it when the game builds up the relationship, or when there are problems and they have to solve it together and bond, spend more actual time with each other etc, etc — you get what i’m trying to say. some of the people i’ve talked to about this got bored with the game because there were no locked routes where you have to wait to unlock it. i’ve also seen and heard individuals talking about how they’ve finished the game already in one day. hearing other opinions on the game’s pacing greatly impacted my review for it. 3. marriage ending: 0.8/5. well, its definitely an ending. i don’t get how that ending worked and how micah suddenly proposed and mc agreed. are they still not rivals? have they not *just* started talking to each other for one singular day? i mean, i guess the art was pretty. but that’s really it. 4. micah yujin: 3/5. i think he’s cute, i guess. he’s a very silly guy. its just that me personally.. ‘poggers’ and ‘pogchamp’ don’t do it for me. i had to take deep breaths. i did not like that nor the mysta rias poster in the background. lastly, ive decided that due to controversy surrounding the game and jenny pham, i am officially deleting it and telling everyone i know who want to download it to simply turn away. this behaviour is not okay nor is it professional at all. i sincerely hope this helps this game get it together since its been out on pc as well for toooo long without any good improvements. thank you.
