Field2Fan

Sports Photo Event Manager

Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

New Edit Mode holds every photo until you say go. Pull a frame into Lightroom/Capture One/other, edit it, send it back in one tap, then release it to your fans. Field2Fan is a real-time sports photography workflow designed to help professional photographers move images from the field to their clients while the action is still happening. Using the Field2Fan Hub, compatible cameras can transfer images wirelessly into the Field2Fan workflow. Photographers can review incoming images, identify and organize athletes, and deliver selected photos to registered players, parents, teams, and other event participants — without waiting until after the game to begin the delivery process. Field2Fan brings event management and image delivery together in one streamlined workflow. Events and player registrations created through the Field2Fan platform sync with the app, giving photographers the information they need while covering the event. FEATURES • Real-time image workflow using the Field2Fan Hub • Support for compatible Wi-Fi/FTP-enabled professional cameras • Event and athlete registration synchronizationSo • Athlete organization by jersey number • Selective image delivery from the field • Support for multiple sports and event types • Secure event and participant access • Designed for professional sports photography workflows REQUIREMENTS Field2Fan requires Field2Fan Hub hardware and an active Field2Fan account and service subscription. EDIT MODE — HOLD PHOTOS FOR EDITING BEFORE THEY REACH FANS Turn on Edit Mode and nothing goes out until you say so. Photos still arrive from your Hub, Field2Fan still recognizes the jersey and files each frame under the right player — it just holds them for you instead of delivering them. That gives you a window to pull a frame into your editor, work it, send it back, and only then put it in front of fans. THE HOLD SCREEN • Held photos grouped by player, with a thumbnail of each • Edit in… — sends a copy to Lightroom, Capture One, Snapseed, or whatever you use • Save — copies to your camera roll with EXIF intact, for editors that import from Photos • Release — delivers to fans. The only button here that sends anything. • Release Edited or Release All, so you can work a batch and deliver it in one go • Swipe to discard a frame you don't want GET YOUR EDIT BACK IN ONE TAP Field2Fan now appears directly in the share sheet of your editing app. Finish a photo, share it to Field2Fan, and it goes straight back into the same player's folder — matched by filename, so there is no second jersey lookup to get wrong. Common editor suffixes like "-Edit" and "-2" are expected and handled. A photo we can't match is never dropped; it lands in Review for you to place by hand. KNOW WHAT'S OUTSTANDING AT A GLANCE • HELD — straight off the Hub, untouched • OUT — sent to an editor, not back yet • EDITED — an edited version came back and replaced the original A new Edit Mode banner on the Dashboard shows how many photos are waiting and opens the Hold screen in one tap. Field2Fan now also tells you where every incoming photo landed, so a share is never silent. BUILT FOR THE SIDELINE • Larger, full-height controls on the Hold screen — easier to hit in a hurry, one-handed • A new Hold Guide explains the whole loop: what each button does, how to get an edit back, and what the badges mean • The Camera Sync Guide has been rewritten to be scanned rather than read FIXES • The share sheet now opens reliably every time from the Hold screen • Local network access is properly declared, so connecting to your F2F Hub is smoother on a fresh install • Photos shared into Field2Fan always land somewhere you can see them, even with no event live As always, recognition runs on your device and your images stay yours.
