What's New in v1.0.6
Temperature-Driven Recommendation Engine
The core recommendation algorithm now factors in real-time water temperature and weather conditions. Previously, recommendations were based only on season, region, and month. Now the scoring weights are:
• Season/hatch activity: 25-35%
• Region match: 25%
• Water temperature: 25% (new)
• Peak month bonus: 10%
• Weather conditions: 5% (new) — overcast boosts mayflies, wind boosts terrestrials, rain boosts caddis
Weather Integration
The /recommendations endpoint now fetches live weather data and estimates water temperature (using air temp with seasonal offsets as fallback). The response includes water temp, air temp, and weather-aware context messages like "Overcast skies favor mayfly hatches."
App Store Compliance Fixes
• Removed login gates — logbook and favorites work locally without sign-in
• Auto-start free trial on first open
• Fixed location button text per Guideline 5.1.1(iv)
• Added PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy collected data types for location
