Could not get it to work
Version 2.1.3 would not work for me in OS X 10.8.3
It started to download 180 files. After each file, it reported a failure, and offered to retry. Pressing the retry button caused it to continue (and fail) on the next file. The problem may be that it simply won't run from a restricted (not administrative) user account.
There is already a good review on this app, and iit will cost you nothing to try it out.

Doesn’t work on Mavericks. Waste of time.

Could not get it to see Nuvi 1350 until I removed micro SD card
Tried several things but the app would not see this older nuvi, it sees a newer version fine. The one thing I realized is that the newer nuvi did not have a micro SD card installed while my older nuvi did.
Removed the card, reloaded the app and bang sees the older nuvi so if you are having an issue with your device not being found and you have a card installed try removing it.
