New Features in 1.5 * Backups! ghostmemo+ allows users to save/share/backup their files and it felt silly that this wasn't baked into the basic version as well. You can now backup all of your basic memos from the settings screen. * Improved Keypair backup: The settings window now offers a more feature-complete ability to backup your current keypair. The older versions didn't implement this in a manner that offered a good user experience. Keypairs can now be backed up just like memos, saved to your local device, texted to yourself, emailed - whatever is your personal preference. News: * the backup options are part of an incoming transition that will allow for a more feature/security rich application. The ability to import a keypair and manually decrypt/encrypt data is on the horizon, as are many other features that are vital to information security and privacy. * a new website is also in the near future - hopefully this can be a resource to educate users about encryption and make the onboarding process less daunting I'm always happy to hear feedback or requests, so if you have any please don't hesitate to reach out!

Version 1.4 is here! I've been working all day and all night to get this update out, and I think it's a good one. Digital privacy/security has never been more important in our day to day life – and update 1.4 comes with a redesigned logo and ghostmemo+ gm+ offers users more control over their data, files, and phone. ghostmemo+ users can import files of any type, whether it is a PDF or a movie, and encrypt it right on their local device. ghostmemo doesn't require unfettered access to your file system or photo library, and it never will. By default, every file (encrypted or not) is stored locally, like always. No cloud access, no login credentials, no data harvesting, and no ads. Don't worry about the base version of ghostmemo either - new features, updates, and improvements across the board are on the way!

The latest update allows you to choose of using Face ID and use a custom 6 digit PIN to access the app, encrypt data, and handle user authentication. ghostmemo is first and foremost a tool to safeguard your data locally on your device. We've added multiple quality of life fixes and improved the user interface.
