Santa Cruz Hostel
Our family of 4 stayed at the hostel for 3 nights in March. We had our own bunk room in a cottage, that also included the use of a lovely sitting area and a shared bathroom. It was very quiet and the guests were all very respectful. The kitchen area was very clean and well equipped. Made for easy meal prep. The garden area was so peaceful to sit and enjoy the fresh air. The location was amazing, just a short walk to the boardwalk. There is access to paid laundry on site if required. If you like to meet other travellers, in an awesome space with a great location I would 100% recommend the Santa Cruz hostel.

All the services we were under the impression of (receiving massage) a big working window
We found bugs in our bed!
There is no hand soap in our room
The mattress and sheets are stained
Stains on our pillows
Little brown spots on our pillows
The advisement says free parking and it is definitely not free, they don’t even have their own parking space for their people staying here
No staff working through the night to be there if something happens that requires hotel service
No way to get ahold of hotel staff or manager
There is no screen in our window and the blind on the right side doesn’t go down
Comfort and convenience
Everything about this concept is wonderful! The coffee flat white was mind blowing delicious 😋 I felt secure and slept very well, waking up and showering before an incredible coffee, leaving me refreshed and ready to face air travel for another day!
