Would rather pay a flat outright fee than a monthly—definitely not worth the price

Thank you for your candid feedback Silver stuff. You can save 37% with a yearly subscription but we also know that subscriptions aren't for everyone. That is why we pride ourselves on providing an exceptional experience for our users - whether they pay for a subscription or not. We use our subscription revenues to continually invest in Everspruce by ensuring secure cloud backup of all user's data and creating unique features like batch mode, qr codes, and we're also working on multi-users functionality right now as well. Functional app for exactly what I need, however there are TWO DEALBREAKERS:
1. The app collects "user content". So what are you doing with the list & photos of my stuff, and where I keep it in my house???
2. It's subscription based. I would only pay for an app like this with a flat fee.

1. The app collects user content by definition (users add content into Everspruce) and so we have to say that in our disclosures. Your data is encrypted on disk and in transit, we don't sell your data to any third party, and we don't even look at your specific data unless we are troubleshooting some sort of issue that a user writes in about. We do use third party services like cloud providers, etc - but again that is to actually enable Everspruce to function.

I started to use her app and I cannot believe such a simple task becoming so aggravating. It so badly organized. I just want to add a box and it’s asking me for area or box then I tap the area just to find out now I have a box with in a box. Don’t bother purchasing this app it’s a waist of time and money. Thanks god I only purchased monthly not yearly.

Aga I'm so sorry you had a poor experience! When you start out adding an Area, and then a Box, and then an Item it does make it easier to understand the "nesting doll" structure of how Everspruce organizes entries. With that said, it absolutely isn't ideal for users with your specific use case. If you're up for it, please contact carol@everspruceapp.com and we'd love to figure out a way to make it right.
