The Hose Record Vault system was developed with the hope that all fire departments would take this opportunity to fully implement fire hose preventative maintenance procedures, with full documentation as required by NFPA 1962. NFPA 1962 – The Standard for the Inspection, Care, Use and Service Testing of Fire Hose - Chapter 5 states each length of hose shall have a unique identification number for use in recording its history throughout its service life, and that an accurate hose record shall be maintained by the department.

By following a routine testing and maintenance program in conjunction with the Hose Record Vault, you will have confidence in knowing your fire equipment is at top level performance. With the capability to login and keep accurate records of hoses in your department, by station, and by engine, you can take the guess work out of hose inventory.
