Hydro Ottawa’s app provides you with 24/7 access to manage your account online. Redesigned based on customer feedback, it includes new features and enhancements. Open to residential and commercial customers, as well as those without a Hydro Ottawa account, the app allows users to sign up to access a number of services and tools like alerts and notifications, report an outage, or open, close or update a new or existing account. New features and functionalities will be rolled out in phases over 2023.

God knows how much the city spent making this app. But everything you click brings you to the website 😂 whats the point? Anything i want to do or see just bring you to the website where you have to re log in???? Even the paid bills take 2-4 days to process. It makes absolutely no sense. Im able to get a confirmation email telling me the bill was paid but then it wont update for days. Then it processed to send me a Over due email plus the app says its over due? They took the time to tell people that this is “normal” and to ignore it if it’s already paid. Im taking a coding class and i can tell you this is just lazy coders. But it makes me hopeful to know that this is my “competition” 😂👌

Doesn’t even tell you the current $/kWh.It should at least tell you that based on the customer’s plan, time of day, day of week etc., plus all the different TOU and Tier rates.All costs should be *REAL* costs, including all taxes, fees and ridiculous charges. Whatever the customer has to pay.We do not need another app to pay bills.Contains useless tips.Chat doesn’t work.Why did Hydro even bother making this app??

Glad to see the improvements made. There is a lot of info that can be extracted about your power usage. One minor complaint is that when the current billing period ends the data for the just ended period is not available for several days until the next bill is ready. Why not just make the data available for our own stats?
