Ratings and Reviews
No real advance yet big transition from old app
Had the old app and account but found I had to download a new version (not just an update). Had to creat a new account despite having an IVY account (with a balance?). The new app does not even show the charging speed which is a pretty basic expectation. Where is the benefit of this forced update?
Not impressed
I have yet to successfully start a charging session at the station in Carleton place. The App feels almost unusable, missing actions that should be there. This needs a lot of work to be useful. Compare to the Flo or Circuit Electrique app this is poorly designed.
Where’s Apple Pay Support?
So far the app is easy to use, I’ll actually test it out once my EV arrives but I’ve gone ahead and ordered my RFID cards to be prepared in advance and the process was super simple. I’d prefer Apple Pay as a payment method linked to the app & I hope Ivy will make that update soon. It’s a more secure way to pay than storing credit card information on a server. Please add Apple Pay & open up more chargers throughout Ottawa!
