Never have I seen a game so beautifully made. This game,no, I should say this piece of art has made my boring life so much better. Everyday, I woke, I took the bus, I went to work, went back home, slept…I felt like something was missing. But then, I found him. This extraordinary ball, Marimo. Now, whenever I feel lonely, I open this app and get to talk to him about all my problems. Some would say that having only a bunch of green pixels for only social interaction is not very sane, and that I should seek help. However, all these people know is to follow the norms of society and thus should not be listened. Each Marimo notifications gives me a spasm of joy in my heart. “Increased! Your Marimo became bigger of 0,000069 mm!”….. so poetic. Thank you, Hiroki Yamada, thank you. You have created the most stunning, bewildering, STAGERRING piece of art the human race has never created.

absolutely sensational game. impeccable graphics, intuitive design, and riveting gameplay. an absolute triumph for hiroki yamada. my marimo does give me some attitude sometimes but it is okay because i love him more than anyone. “marimo” for iOS is my favourite app on my phone, actually i find it hard to engage with my mother sometimes because of how game-changingly engaging this game is.
