A wonderful, functional app to help modern families and caregivers navigate their caring journey together. Our family utilized Caring Village to communicate and coordinate about elder caregiving toward the final phase of the journey. It was so helpful to use the shared calendar and message board to keep our far-flung family members on the same page about what was happening. I only wish we had adopted the app earlier in the process, during the more acute care period when there were many appointments and updates to communicate.This app is functional and easy to use. You can use as few or as many of the features as your family prefers. I love how there is a browser and smartphone version - very handy!My only request for ongoing developer improvement is to sync the in-app calendar with Villagers' personal calendars. There is a video tutorial for syncing to your OS default calendar, which I tried and it did not work for me. It would be great if the app synced to default and other calendars, like Google Calendar.Thank you again! I will let others in caregiving situations know about this very supportive app.

I’ve been using Caring Village for years and found it quirky but essential. The latest update created a lot of issues. It seems to be made with AI in mind and not well tested. Journal entries take multiple attempts to load and changing repeat events is challenging. The iPhone version looks good but the iPad version is clunky and images don’t load properly. I can’t get the desktop version to even load. There are a lot of good features but this version should have been tested more before release.

Calendar and to-do could be compatible - so you do not have to create the same event/request twice (as many to dos are based on a time/day requirement). This change would be very helpful. Also, allow Vancouver, Canada to exist - problems setting up time zone / location! I think a few usability changes would make this app great.
