It's important to note that capturing clear and well-lit images underwater can be challenging due to various factors such as contrast, lighting conditions, and image clarity. These factors can indeed impact the accuracy of the app's identification results.To ensure the highest accuracy, the app performs best when identifying species that have been removed from the water and for those species listed and in regions supported and contained within our extensive database. This allows for better recognition and more reliable results.

We're sorry to hear that you had a negative experience with FishVerify. However, we believe that there may be some confusion. FishVerify will never ask for credit card information. All subscriptions are managed by users accounts through the iTunes store. New FV user downloads are asked to establish an account with a username and sign in password to gain access to the 3-day free trial period to experience all the premium features. At the end of the free trial period a user can continue to take advantage of one of our low-cost subscription offers, priced for less than what a cup of coffee costs per day, or continue with free access to the species profiles and regulation section of the app.
