Subscription pricing and terms:
Hatch+ offers auto-renewing subscriptions. This will continue to give you unlimited access to content while you maintain an active subscription. Cancel anytime. Payment will be charged to the credit card connected to your App store Account. Your subscription will automatically renew and the credit card connected to your App store Account will be charged at the subscription frequency you choose unless you decide to cancel at least 24 hours prior to your renewal date. You may manage your subscription, and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your Account Settings after the purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.

Pleasant aesthetic UI, very slow to execute multiple tasks

The app is extremely slow. Every time I make a small change, it freezes for about 5 seconds to save. If I try to make a few quick edits in a row, I have to wait between each one, which makes it really frustrating to use.

New UI update is awfully designed

New UI doesn’t have +/- button which lets you increase/decrease brightness or volume. Also removed value of brightness and volume so you dont how to precisely set value for brightness or volume. Now you have to use slider to do that which is not useful. Please fix this for future updates
Predatory Subscription model

Abysmal selection of sounds for the base app. For such an expensive device, they lock 90% of the content behind an equally expensive subscription. For a $120 speaker, it is made very clear to you how little you have access to if you don’t opt to buy their extra $50+ annual subscription. They try to force it on you at every step in the app setup and only once you finally get past it is it clear how little actually comes with the default program. Seeing all of this extra content locked behind this paywall after already paying for a “premium” speaker is crazy… for a “family-first” company, it’s obvious they much rather focus on prying your wallet open as much as possible. Return it while you still can.

This app disconnects all the time, and then when it is connected it is so slow to open and run.
