This provides only limited scanning ability on my Brother MFC-9330CDW all-in-one printer/scanner. The printer driver is still in System Settings for this machine in Sonoma and works fine. Years ago, the Scanner Function was also in System Settings, together with the printer driver and they both had FULL FUNCTIONALITY. When my printer/scanner was only a year or two old, Brother dropped support for this machine when used with later MacOS operating systems. However, this same machine is STILL well-supported in both Windows 10 and Windows 11 by Brother. They have dropped ALL support for this machine when connected to a Mac running MacOS Sonoma. Maybe it's time to switch entirely to Windows!!!

My First Mac
Read the notes when installing this to your mac with Catalina i downloaded the printer drivers from Brother and then i downloaded the drivers to scan from Brothers website. I then downloaded this from the Apple site and now this software replaces the brother utilities suite for the DCP 7065N. Don't just download this software and expect it to work. There are three parts you need and then it works as it did in the past. Just look up on the Brother website for the correct model. Hope this helps someone out!!!!

I have a Brother Printer but this app does not support it. How uselss is that! Stay away from this one - it is useless unless you have a one year old printer.

Absolutely no value if it does not suport older devices. In our case older = a 3 year old MFC-7460DN. Why not at least provide a list of supported devices to base our download decsion on?
