With Avigilon Alta Open, your phone is your key. Avigilon Alta Open allows users to quickly and securely unlock a door connected to the Avigilon Alta Access Control system with their smartphone. The easy-to-use mobile app finds nearby Avigilon Alta-connected readers, and lets you unlock the door with a single wave or tap.

DIGITAL GUEST PASS
Create and customize guest passes for visitors right in the app. Send the digital Cloud Key credentials via email or SMS, and guests can unlock the door right from their phone.
REMOTE FEATURES
Advanced security, accessed from anywhere. Authorized users can remotely unlock any door, create and send digital Guest Passes, and activate pre-configured system Lockdown plans in the event of an emergency, all from the app. Authorized users are determined by the system administrator.
HOW IT WORKS
- The application works only with the Avigilon Alta Access Control system.
- Certain features, such as Mobile Badge and Lockdown, are enabled at the discretion of the organization administrator.
- We leverage Bluetooth low energy, Wi-Fi and LTE capabilities, as well as location services to ensure the best door opening experience possible.
- To ensure you are authorized as a user of your company’s Avigilon Alta Access Control system, please contact your administrator, who will check to see that your email address has been added and will send you links to enable your application to be authorized and credentialed.

I like this app. It works and it’s easy. If the devs can add Apple Car Play access so that I could use it directly on my truck’s infotainment system to open our parking gate … then we’re looking at a perfect app.
Watch app does not give access when tapping in the notification and needs favourites

When you receive a notification on the watch when you’re close to a door, it shows the notification which says tap to unlock but when you tap, it does nothing. It just takes you to the list of all the doors in the building and then you have to find the door you are at within that long list.The app is pretty much usless. As it’s faster to oull out your physical card…There’s also no favourites list.
An over complicated solution to a simple problem

Keys have been around for thousands of years. NFC tags are cheap and easy. Having your customers require an app that is constantly scanning their location, needs internet to open a door, and requires constant Bluetooth is bad.

They have upgraded it to this and it’s the worst ever app as a lease owner i am not able to add anyone into system to give access to my occupants. And we can’t add more than two person to give access what’s up with that? If you are making app at least give access enough people to use the feature and there is no feedback thing in the app as well
