Apple Design Award (ADA) winner Agenda connects your notes to your calendar—so meeting prep, project plans, and decisions stay tied to when they happen.
Most note apps lose track of time. You jot something down, it vanishes into a folder, and a week later you can't recall why you made that choice or what you prepped for that meeting.
Agenda changes this. Each note sits on a timeline with your calendar. Get ready for next week's client meeting, capture decisions as they occur, and review exactly what brought you here — all in one glance.

PROJECTS AND CATEGORIES
Group notes into projects, group projects into categories. Drag to reorder, collapse to focus, or let the timeline organise for you.
MAC, IPAD, AND IPHONE
Agenda syncs across all your devices via iCloud or Dropbox. Share individual notes for real-time collaboration — ideal for team meetings or shared lists.
FREE TO USE, FOREVER
Agenda is free with no time limits. Premium features are available through a yearly subscription — and you retain every feature you unlock, even if you cancel. A one-time lifetime purchase is also available.
A note-taking app that stands out thanks to its clever use of time. You can attach a specific date to each note you create, tie a note to an event already on your calendar, or organize your notes on a timeline, making it easy to tap a specific date and find the note you created.

Encrypted note-taking app that is a work of art
SimplyCooler
Agenda has always been a great app, and I absolutely love it every time I use it. The polish, aesthetics, and attention to small details make it truly a work of art in the form of a note-taking application. What initially held me back was the lack of end-to-end encryption for keeping my notes and thoughts private. However, with the recent rollout of E2E iCloud Sync, I immediately upgraded to premium and have been using it daily for a few months now. Here is what I love about the app:- It is marketed as a date-focused notes app (for dated meeting notes, for example), but I have been using it almost exclusively for taking undated notes. It has replaced and improved upon everything I used OneNote for.- The app is a joy to use, and the navigation on iOS and Mac is amazing. I initially struggled with the always expanded notes, but this changed once I realized that navigating within projects only requires clicking on the title of the project.- It has amazing quality of life features beyond navigation, including shared notes, pinning and sorting, tags, exporting, markdown, and every one of these features is implemented beautifully. Here is what I want improved in this app:- I prefer to keep work and personal notes separate (important for context setting), but this app is such a joy to work with that I have started using it for storing non-work notes as well. I would like there to be profiles in the app. This app has quickly become one of my most used and beloved writing tools. Not only has it replaced my OneNote usage, but with E2E encrypted sync (with Advanced Data Protection enabled), it has also replaced Standard Notes for keeping personal notes.
Crashes all the time
Rashika Fernando
The app is full of bugs. Plus, all the features can be done with Microsoft OneNote, which has far more capability and platform compatibility.
Developer Response
If you are experiencing bugs, please report them to support@agenda.com so that we can fix them.I think there are many aspects of Agenda that differ from other note taking apps like OneNote. I recommend taking a closer look. You can use it for free, so there is not much to lose.
IMPROVED
- Widgets now hide your note content while Agenda is locked, keeping it private on your Home and Lock Screens
FIXED
- Fixed search sometimes showing no results for a fully typed tag
- Fixed a rare crash while typing
