Why does the color filter of review disappear?

In the past version, I can filter the color I want while reviewing the cards. But recently this function disappears and the filter choices are limited in tags, documents and so on. Will this function come back? Color selection is really important to me.

I tried a few apps in the past 3 years and so far, Margin Note 3 has been THE app where I can gather all of my study material in one place (PDFs, webpages, youtube videos...). I like the fact that I can type to create mindmaps but also write down my notes, which makes it versatile. I haven't been able to use all the functions yet. From what I understood, I can also create flashcards from excerpts and it is a function that I have not mastered yet. The only downside is that I find the mindmaps to be very linear, and syncing can take time (I use Margin Note 3 on my computer and tablet). I also tried to create mindmaps from excerpts but it keeps showing the same sentence everytime I try to use texts from my PDFs. Otherwise, it is a very versatile app.

I love the idea of this app that allows to use mind mapping and structured annotation as stiuding aid right in your PDF. It makes navigating my notes and understading document/topic structure much quicker and more efficient. But the number of bugs and weird behaviour is very high. Product needs serious quality assurance effort. I can't even submit a bug report through application as the form give an error...

TLDR: I've spent thousands of hours and thousands of pages in this program. Amazing and worth every penny for any student/academic. Start slow, get familiar with the exceptionally well executed basics and then learn to use the more powerful features. Nothing else compares.Throughout medical school and residency I was constantly looking for a program that let me upload electronic textbooks to highlight and annotate with easy referencing. I tried everything, Goodnotes, Onenote, Evernote - you name it I tried it, and while they all worked fine/ok for annotation and highlighting, they all struggled when it came to reviewing what I'd already gone over. Once I found MarginNote I was hooked. You can upload any PDF easily. The annotation and highlighting are the best out there, bar none. You can annotate, cross reference, create notes, highlight and even make flashcards out of all of the above. Text searching is fantastically easy thanks for their exceptional OCR. It can automatically create mind-map content that then makes it even easier to review and create connections between concepts. It has elevated my studying and journal article review. All of this syncs quickly and easily from my Macbook to my iPad, to my iPhone, and back. You can use as many/few of these features as you feel comfortable with, without losing functionality (It has easily become my favorite PDF viewer).There are only two drawbacks. The first is that it can be intimidating to get into because you can do so much. It took me a few weeks to really understand how to get around inside this, so take your time - start with the PDF reader/annotation/highlighting and then gradually experiment and figure out the mindmapping and flashcard functionality. Second, which goes along with the first, is that the support materials are not as clear as would be ideal. The creators have obviously put time and effort into those materials, but the clarity leaves something to be desired and it scomplexity means it might take some time to become become fluent in all its different functions - but that's ok because the basic functions are SO good and SO helpful. I'd give this more stars if I could.
