Description

Taskheat brings a sense of flow to your to-do lists. Break down your projects into small tasks and define their dependencies. You can progress toward your goals by focusing on the steps under your control in a resulting flowchart.

It's a powerful and handy task management app to burn through your tangles of to-dos and projects.

Use Taskheat to:

• Track the relations between your to-dos.
Think of your to-dos as a link in a chain. It's a building block that forms a flow of small or achievable duties.
Each task can have multiple dependencies or can enable or block others.

• Get things done when you're there.
The list of your actual tasks may update depending on your location. Suppose you can perform a specific task in a particular place. In that case, it will appear in your actual list only if you are in that spot.

• Track tasks delegated to third parties.
Suppose there's a responsibility currently out of your control or in the hands of another person. In that case, Taskheat will not include those duties in the list of actual tasks.

• Assign due dates and receive notifications.
Taskheat will notify you when any of your tasks are due soon, so you'll never forget to get things done on time.

• Manage regular duties.
There are many examples of repeating tasks that you need to perform regularly. Define the recurrence rule to reflect that in your agenda.

• Color code and tag your tasks.
Assign meaningful colors to make it easier to scan your workflow for a specific group of duties visually or filter them by tags.

• Print your flowcharts or lists.
Taskheat makes it easy to print your task flow with style. You can also generate PDF files for sharing.

• See your actual tasks in a handy widget.
The minimalistic widget allows you to see your plan at a glance without opening the app.

• Stay productive wherever you go.
Taskheat uses iCloud to synchronize your projects between your Mac, iPhone, or iPad. You can pick up the latest version of your task flow on any device.

You can download and try Taskheat for free for two weeks. After that, you can either purchase a full version or access your data in a read-only mode. It is a single purchase for all devices and NOT a subscription.

Our team continuously improves Taskheat to make it even better. Feel free to reach us at support@eyen.fr and on Twitter (@taskheat). Share your feedback or ask any questions. We are always happy to assist you.

Stay tuned and good luck reaching your accomplishments!

Great concept but buggy

I love the concept of this app as it's how I map out complicated series of tasks on paper but it crashes often, generally just after linking a set of tasks.

There are other issues, for example, linking a task from a tag you are working into to an item you searched will kick you out of the tag to the larger scope. Or the search box continually popping results back onto the screen even though you cleared it and it went away.

Amazing app but missing something

The app is great and is checking off all my requirements so far. I write software for a living and having the ability to create a visual task list that interlinks with other tasks is a great concept. However when using the app, it would be great to have detailed notes for tasks like the ability to create a list, add a new line(currently can't use enter key), bold or highlight words, etc.

Thanks for the great app!

Hello ekassouf7,

In the current version of Taskheat, you can insert a new line in the notes section by pressing the Option+Return key.

Many other improvements to the task details are in our pipeline for future updates.

Thank you for using Taskheat!

Good, almost there...

This is a review of the mac version. I like the concept of this app. However, unless I'm missing something, it seems that this is a bottom-up type flowchart where tasks that are created as "depends" always move to top of the flowchart. I'd prefer a top-down approach where parent tasks are above child (dependent) tasks. An option to switch this (along with arrow directions) would be appreciated. It's worth noting I can actually create a top-down flowchart as it is now, however, if I mark a lower task as complete, then it means the task above it needs to be completed as well which is a dealbreaker.

I would also like to be able to drag arrows from one task to another to create relationships instead of having to use the " " button from the Flowchart page. This also means I can't create a new relationship for a task if it is a stand-alone task from the Flowchart page.

And, tags... I think it would make sense to default a "depends" task with the tags of the parent task rather than being empty. And it should be possible to change the tag color from the Tags side menu in addition to the toolbar (once the tag is selected).

Finally, being able to change the icon of the Project using an icon selector would be good too.
