I love the layout and easy to use functions of this app. However besides the recording the features are pretty average. It would be great if they could work intorduce the following...- insert/create table, number line, shapes, etc. (like on docs)- the ability to change colour of the text (not just through highlighting) - the ability to transfer notes to word documents, and other things (not just pdf)

Great app with critical weaknesses too

I've been using Noted as my primary notetaking app and there are great features and functionality, but at the end, it has critical weaknesses that requires me to use the other apps too. 1. PDF: if you're a turn everything into PDF to print person, this app will give you immense amount of stress. (1) It doesn't show you where the pages get cut off, so it will be endless amount of adding and removing space to find the visual output you want. I eventually had to just capture the note itself and print them as images. (2) It does not provide space lining, and the fonts and space lining is super big. Try printing a vocabulary note - you'll end up with maximum 5 words per page if you add explanation and example sentences. What's the point in that? (3) Often times when you copy and paste from web pages or other notes, it doesn't recognize it and when you export it to a pdf, it won't show. Guess what - now you need to open another notetaking app to literally draw or type in what Noted didn't print it out for you.2. Especially when it comes to hand-drawing notes, the sync is pretty terrible between your devices. You'll see your notes layout being moved around, which is a big stress. 3. You can't resize your hand-drawn notes. Yup, You'll either have to try to write as small as you can, or just go with the big bulky thing you've drawn. Also, that means whenever you write something with apple pencil, it will fill up the whole section from left to right.4. Most hilarious weakness - you cannot go to the bottom of the page right away. There's no function for that so good luck scrolling down a note that's worth of 50 pages. I tried taking spanish notes with this in my iphone and it's faster memorizing the word than to try to scroll down to the bottom to write it down. Have I reached out to them? Yes of course, and you'll get a typical response - it's either on the road map or they'll review it. If you see their updates, more and more as the time passes by, it seems they're not really interested in the painpoint of users. Yes I will be using the app and will maintain my plus membership this time, hoping that with time, these functions would be added in. But I'll be very reluctant to renew it again should this mess continues.

Great App - Crashes Sometimes

I have been using this app for 4 years at uni, I love how all notes are stored and organzied, and the audio recording is handy and I like that it is time-stamped. So convenient for notes that have lots of diagrams and pictures, and I like that it will auto-fit the notes to whatever size window you change it to. The only reason for not getting 5 stars is that it does sometimes crash. I'm not sure why and I try to keep it up to date. Pasting weird symbols (like Greek letters) can make it crash so try not to do that. Just make sure to save your work often.

So convenient for notes that have lots of diagrams and pictures, and I like that it will auto-fit the notes to whatever size window you change it to. The only reason for not getting 5 stars is that it does sometimes crash. I'm not sure why and I try to keep it up to date. Pasting weird symbols (like Greek letters) can make it crash so try not to do that. Just make sure to save your work often.
