This is one of those apps that you won’t use often, but when you need it, it’s perfect. Figure out when the sun will hit windows in a house or apartment you’re thinking of getting, find the perfect beach cabana on vacation, plan out golden hour photos. Amazing.

This app is awesome. It’s surprising how accurate the app is at placing the sun in the sky. It’s very helpful for gardening when you’re trying to find how much sun a spot will get during the day.However, users must be careful. When you give permission to access the camera for AR mode, you’re giving permission to access at all times. I first noticed when I closed the app in the garden, locked my phone and put it in my pocket and went inside. Then I opened the phone to use safari at my kitchen table the. Locked the phone again. An hour later I went back outside and reopened the app from the apps tray and the image that was on the AR screen was my kitchen table before the camera turned back on. This is a terrible breach of privacy.Always make sure to close the app when you’re done using it.I would have given 5 stars to this app if it weren’t for the terrible privacy issues.
